Compassionate Therapy in Grapevine, TX or Virtually Across TX & CA

Ryan Muldoon, LMSW

Supervised by William Wright, LCSW

“I personally know what it can feel like to feel disconnected from yourself, unsure of who you are becoming, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel like they fit. Many clients come to therapy carrying anxiety, trauma, shame, identity concerns, or the exhaustion that comes from looking “fine” on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally.

Sometimes clients feel overwhelmed by the process of beginning therapy. They may not know where to start, what they need, or how to make sense of the protective patterns, beliefs, or emotional responses that keep showing up in their lives. If you’re a high-achieving/perfectionistic person or a current/former athlete, this can also include navigating pressure, identity, injury, life transitions, or the question of who you are beyond performance.

My work is primarily informed by Internal Family Systems, along with EMDR, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and a growing interest in body-based awareness. I strive to create a grounded and compassionate space where clients do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Together, we can begin to understand the parts of you that are trying to protect you, the experiences that shaped them, and the deeper needs underneath the pain.

I truly believe healing comes from within. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with the strength, clarity, and wisdom that already exist inside of you. I hope to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more grounded in who they are, and more able to move forward with compassion and self-understanding.”
