Your Investment in Yourself
Please contact us as our fees vary depending on the provider and length of session. We meet with clients on a weekly basis or every other week based on our clinical recommendation. It is not advised to meet less than once every two weeks as any less than that has shown to provide minimal progress and we want you to get the most out of your treatment. Some clients prefer “intensives” where the provider meets with the client for 1.5 to 2 hours. We find that these sessions are extremely effective and the client may only need a handful of these sessions and be done with treatment. We provide a free 20 minute consultation with the provider you are interested in working with to see if you are a good fit. Once treatment has begun, your payment is due prior to or at the time of the session. We accept all major debit, credit cards, or HSA/FSA cards.
*Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
INSURANCE BILLING
We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Curative, and Superior Health Plan/ Ambetter. If you have a different PPO or similar insurance plan, your services may be covered and we can submit the insurance claim on your behalf. Reimbursement rates vary by insurance plan and the best way to know how much they will pay per session is by calling them directly and asking about your Out of Network Coverage Benefits. Please inquire if you would like to utilize your insurance so we can verify coverage.
Advantages when you pay out of pocket include:
-Insurance companies require a “mental health disorder’” diagnosis, which you may not qualify for or want in your medical record.
-Higher quality of care as therapist is not overworked by insurance requirements.
-Freedom to begin treatment quickly without waiting for approval from your insurance company.
-Ability to select the therapist of your choice.
-You and your therapist decide the length of your treatment without insurance policy limits.
-Increased privacy that will not erode your confidentiality.
